Our Story

A small store with a long memory

Kashmiri Heritage Store was started by a family that has lived between Srinagar and Delhi for three generations. We grew up around looms, embroidery frames and the warm smell of pashm wool drying in the spring sun. We started this shop because we kept seeing the same story repeat itself — beautiful, painstakingly made Kashmiri products being sold in distant cities under names that erased the people who made them.

Every shawl, cap and kurta we sell is made by named artisans we work with directly. No middlemen. No machine finishing dressed up as handwork. Just authentic, handmade Kashmiri products — sent straight from the workshop to your door.

Kashmiri Heritage Workshop

The artisans

We partner with over 120 weavers, embroiderers and tailors across Srinagar, Kanihama and Pulwama. Many are women working from home studios.

The craft

Pashmina spinning, kani weaving, sozni and aari embroidery — each technique is centuries old and passed down within families.

The promise

If a piece is not authentic, handmade and exactly as described, we will take it back. Always. That is the whole point of the shop.
